Brief

Id-Lab was selected among 16 talented designer and invited to develop a new product concept for the italian brand Invicta

Project description

After several ideas, based on the integration of technology into weareble products, we decided to work on the concept of a pocketbook with multi-functional lighter covering. The goal was to develop a playful product that could help people in simple functions (for instance searching objects in the dark, increase the visibility of cyclists and runners at night, create easy interactions between mobile phones and garments).

Project detail

Luminance and rhythm will change according to the programmed function. For example, the pocketbook may light up to allow you to find items easily inside your bag.
When grabbed, the semi-transparent skin will light up to show you the shapes of the objects inside - your keys, your documents, mobile phone, coins, etc.
Lightvelope is interactive with programmable functions; you can decide the intervals of the blinking rhythms and of course if can easily be switch off as well.
