BA thesis at Isia, Roma in conjuction with Fiat Project Leaders Veneranda Carrino Roberto Giolito (external advisor) Brief My thesis has been developed during a seminar focusing on sustainable design. The goal of my project was to envision a new sustainable system for the transportation of goods in urban areas, using the city of Rome as the main point of reference. Project detail The device has been designed to facilitate the interaction between users and resources in a vehicle sharing system. It helps people in booking and locating available cars in a specificarea. It also provides the ability for daily users to share the vehicle for the transportation of goods. The device has a touch screen surface and it is split in two different screens; one as a keyboard, the other to display. On the external surface there is a touch pad that can be used for quick operations (such as car recognition and opening). Once inside the car it can be turned into a full wide screen that works as a navigator. Design Process This project has been developed following next steps; - Reserch on services and products - User Research (observing and interviewing people in the environment) - Framework / Scenario - Concept Generation - Concept Refinement - 3D Modelling - Presentation /video
